This apartment is situated in a brand new luxury residence and has been completed to the highest standard. The building is right on the pistes so you'll be able to maximise your time on the mountain as well as get back to your apartment easily during the day. 

The apartment is let on a self-catering basis but there is a restaurant within the hotel. Facilities include flat screen satellite TV, WiFi access, safe, hair-dryer and balcony. In the kitchenette you will find a dishwasher, oven, fridge and microwave. The lay out is as follows:

  • Equipped kitchen
  • Living room, sofa and one balcony facing south-west
  • 1 bathroom and 1 WC

The residence uses traditional alpine wood in its decoration mixed with modern chic modern furnishings and fixtures. It comes with a covered parking space.

The complex includes a luxurious spa where you can relax and revive aching muscles after an active day on the mountain. The spa has two pools, a gym, sauna, hammam, jacuzzi and 4 treatment rooms.

You can also choose to unwind in their stylish lounge bar with its roaring log fire and indulge in a delicious cocktail or something else from their extensive drinks menu.

The Koh-i Nor residence also has a large sun terrace where you can enjoy exceptional views of resort. A great place to sit in the sunshine and have lunch.

Access to the spa and the restaurant are only possible on request and according to demand. Animals are welcome at an extra charge.

The apartment is let on a self catering basis, however, there is a restaurant within the residence that offers 5 course meals every day. If you prefer not to self-cater at all during your holiday, there are half board rates available from the restaurant. They can also deliver bakery to the apartment.

What else to book


You’ll need to book your own transfers when staying here. Your main options are shared or private transfers, but consider whether you would prefer a door-to-door service or a (generally cheaper) “communal” drop-off point at your destination.

Ski Hire

The residence includes its own ski and snowboard hire shop where you can hire all your equipment, making it easy for you to get all your gear to and from your accommodation.

Lifts & Passes

You’ll need to buy your own lift pass, when staying here. Lift passes can be booked online or bought in resort on arrival. Instructors & Lessons

When staying here, you’ll need to book  your own ski or snowboard lessons. Tuition is strongly recommended for complete beginners and is always a good idea whatever your level to perfect your technique. Group lessons are a great way for children to learn with their peers whilst giving you some free time on the slopes. Groups are also a generally cheaper option for adults, however, with a private instructor you’ll have undivided attention and be able to progress at your own pace.

Guides & Tours

When staying here, you’ll need to book your own Guides & Tours, which are a great way to discover Val Thorens whilst doing a number of fun activities. During the winter, if you are keen to go off-piste, booking a High Mountain Guide is strongly recommended. Not only do they know the best local spots, these highly trained and experienced individuals are very familiar with the surroundings and can provide loads of insights you won’t get by yourself, as well as helping to ensure your safety.

Cots and high-chairs are available from reception free of charge, subject to availability.

You’ll need to book your own childcare, when staying here. There is a great choice of childcare options in Val Thorens from full-time nanny services to the odd night of babysitting. In addition, during the winter season, many of the ski-schools operate creche services. Booking in advance is always recommended and strongly advised for the school holiday periods.
