More than just a hotel, the Hameau du Kashmir comprises a hotel, a tourist residence and two restaurants, built around a central courtyard. It enjoys an open sunny exposition with fabulous panoramic views and of course, ski in/ski out access.

This high-quality hotel and residence offers a range of different sized suites within its complex, all of which have been beautifully decorated to bring the colours and ambience of Kashmir to Val Thorens. Lush fabrics and vibrant colours blend seamlessly with the natural wood and stone elements typical of the local area, creating a refined and contemporary mountain retreat.

The suites can be booked on a full or half-board basis or as self-contained units if you prefer to cater for yourself on holiday. Regardless of the option chosen, all guests have access to the hotel facilities which include an indoor swimming pool, relaxation area with three saunas (traditional, infrared and a Russian "Bagna"), fitness room, massage room, resident's lounge bar and restaurant, covered parking and private ski locker. Their attentive team is also on hand to assist with booking ski passes, ski lessons and equipment rental.

This hotel and residence is a great option for a group of friends looking for high-quality accommodation with instant access to the slopes. However, it has also been recognised for its family-friendly facilities and as a result, has been presented with the "Famille Plus" award as somewhere particularly suited to families.

The Bar

The beautiful lounge bar is open from 09:00 to 23:00 every day during the winter season. As well as serving a varied and delicious array of beers, cocktails and a particularly good wine list, you can also enjoy hot and cold snacks, sharing platters of cheese and charcuterie and other light bites.

The Restaurant

The restaurant serves a refined selection of steak and lobster dishes from South-American sirloin and rib-eye steaks and a 5-week matured T-bone, to whole grilled lobster, lobster salads or a lobster mini wrap if you're in a rush.

Their meats are sourced through the Metzger Brothers, a prestigious family of butchers for nearly a century, who specialise in selecting exceptional beasts raised by ethical breeders from around the globe. The lobsters come from Brittany or Canada and live out their final moments in the specially installed tank at 2300m. Freshness is guaranteed. These quality ingredients are cooked simply so that their natural flavours speak for themselves.

A real highlight of this restaurant is the stunning panoramic terrace with its breathtaking views of the Cime du Caron. Accessible directly from the slopes, it is open daily from 12:00 to 14:30 for lunch, and then from 19:00 - 21:30 for dinner from December to the end of April.
