Here’s some very varied après for you in the Belleville valley…

This week apparently sees a “Belgian celebration on top of the world” with Belgian Week taking place at Bar 360, Snow Café and Malaysia in Val Thorens.

A huge list of artists are playing; Buscemi, Sem Thomasson, Mr. Grammy, Double Pleasure, Jules X, DJ Miss LN, Frequency, Sir Lanka, Reygel & Peri, Men of Luma, The Last Gentlemen, Clique and Meffew. They will be split between slots everyday at Bar 360 (playing at 2.30pm and 4.15pm), then on to Snow Café (from 8pm, 10pm and Midnight) then Malaysia on Tuesday and Thursday (1.30am and 2.45am.) If you are staying in Val Thorens I’m sure you won’t miss it!

On a very different note, there’s some culture down in St Martin on Wednesday at 6.30pm in the church you can catch the musicians of the group ‘Magie Tzigane’. Similarly, on Friday at Hotel Mercure in Val Thorens Marc Chirinian and Phil Tinman play as ‘Roul’Hot’ if you want to enjoy your vin chaud listening to two talented guitar players.

There is also some après taking place this week for little ones! On Wednesday there is the ‘Guidnol Show’ which is described as a ‘magic moment’ from 3 years old and up. It’s 5 euros per person at the Espace Maurice Romanet. Then the following evening there is a special Children’s Torchlight descent at 6.30pm in Les Menuires, organized by ESF. Along with entertainment, fireworks and free mulled wine and hot chocolate. You need to ensure you have enrolled in advance at the ESF office in La Croisette.

Think there’s something there for everyone, enjoy!
