Val Thorens Snow Report: 15th January 2014

Fresh powder in the Trois Vallees

featured in Snow report Author Caroline Sayer, Val Thorens Reporter Updated

Conditions in Val Thorens have improved dramatically since the snow fall at the beginning of this week and we now have much better skiing on piste and even some power off-piste.

There has been some good skiing over in Val Thorens this week before the snow fell as the high north facing slopes have offered up the best snow, but now the snow has returned the skiing has improved in Val Thorens and the rest of the Three Valleys.

Val Thorens is also the home to new lifts this season. Watch on to find out where....

Anna from Holiday Baby Hire has been out in Courchevel, where she says "The pistes were great, very forgiving.  The fresh snow that fell on Monday night is still light and fluffy and not too skied out, so the girls has lots of fun messing about trying to get the hang of it. The best run was Chaplets in Courchevel 1650, and the tree run at the side of it.  We didn't see the bear today, but we did hear him growl!"
