Cold week in store for the 3 Vallees after a busy festive period
It has been a cold week in Val Thorens, with temperatures as low as -16C. After a busy Christmas and New Year's period, the resort has returned to its normal January conditions, and lift queues have disappeared.
The temperatures will be getting cold again this week, with Wednesday highs of -9C, dropping to -14C, with some snow on the forecast. If the predictions are accurate, we can expect snow to begin on Tuesday evening, and continue right thorough the day on Wednesday.
