Val Thorens in great condition this weekend
Bluebird Saturday in store for the 3 Vallees
After a good 30cm dump last weekend as forecast, Val Thorens was pleasantly surprised to wake up to an extra 40cm on Monday morning.
The snow fell all day, and snow clearing became an all day job in resort. Following the snow were bluebird days and cold temperatures, making for perfect conditions. The 3 Vallees links are now open, giving Christmas visitors a huge area in which to play. Snow levels at 2300 meters are measuring at around 120cm, which is very promising for this early in the season. A sunny Saturday is in store, with temperatures as low as -13c. Sunday through Monday should see a slight rise in temperatures, and some light snow.
