Located in Les Menuires, just a short ski or drive from Val Thorens, this restaurant boasts a huge sun terrace and beautiful mountain views you can enjoy the sun-drenched slopes and eat great food and drink good wine.

With Savoyard and international specialities as well as grills, you can tuck into mountain food and enjoy the fabulous views. They prepare pizzas, fresh desserts and offer a children's menu. Everything is homemade and produce is locally sourced.

You can enjoy breakfast and après-ski at this restaurant as well, or take away all their dishes and pizzas. There is a snack chalet on the terrace serving hot dogs, sandwiches, bread, waffles, and drinks.

2. Les Saints Peres Restaurant

You can get a little bit of everything at this restaurant but Mediterranean flavours are its speciality. Delicious thin crust pizzas, pasta dishes and risottos are served alongside local specialities and French classics such as gratinated onion soup or duck breast with fois gras and morille mushrooms. Tuck into a burger or go for a little hint of Asia with their sesame crust tuna tataki. Whatever you choose, you can be sure that it will have been freshly prepared on site for you.

This recently modernised restaurant in the centre of town serves breakfast, lunch, drinks or dinner and has a lovely sunny terrace for when the weather is fine.

Open daily from 09.00 to 23.00, so whenever hunger strikes, this is the place to visit. Take out options are also available.

Worth noting is that at lunchtime, most restaurants will offer a well-priced 'Plat du Jour' (dish of the day), normally consisting of locally sourced meat, potatoes and a salad or seasonal vegetables. Most, if not all of the restaurants in resort are child friendly, especially if you let them know in advance. Evening meals are normally served from 19:00, and the restaurants are quieter at this time than later on.
