Children’s group lessons are especially popular. With years of experience, instructors know how to strike the perfect balance between fun and learning. Each group has a maximum of just six children, allowing for plenty of individual feedback in a safe and supportive environment.

Adult group ski lessons, for those aged fifteen and over, offer excellent value for money. With a maximum of four adults per group, they feel more like shared private lessons than standard group sessions. You can expect personalised feedback, structured progression and high-quality demonstrations throughout.

They will quickly establish where you require help with your technical ability and work with you to rectify, so you progress and master your skis and snowboard with confidence!

Private lessons can be individual if you need to gain confidence and to progress at your own pace, or with a small group of family or friends accompanied by an instructor that will cater for all your requirements and expectations. It is best if the small group is of a similar level to benefit most out of a private lesson.

Private lessons start from a few hours up to a full day. Please note that group size is limited to eight people and in high season lessons are only available on certain dates at certain times.

6. Private ski lessons

Amelia, Quentin and Jeremy are fully qualified ski instructors who were born and bred within the Savoie region and grew up on skis and snowboards!

Having attended many ski clubs in Val Thorens over the years, they have both competed in Alpine and Freeride/Freestyle skiing competitions for France with a few podium finishes in the World Cup!

The instructors each have between 10-15 years experience of teaching skiing and snowboarding in Val Thorens. In 2014 the three of them decided to set up their own ski school to share their passion for winter sports and provide a personalised service.

Their independent ski school offers both private skiing and snowboarding lessons for all ages and abilities. Whether you are a complete beginner tackling pistes for the first time, want to try out tricks in the snow-park or venture off-piste, they can help you achieve your goals.

Avalanche safety kit with ABS bags will also be provided for those going off-piste.
