ESF is the oldest ski school in Val Thorens and has over 200 different instructors ready to help you make the most of your ski holiday.
Private lessons cater for all abilities and ages, and when you book a private lesson with ESF Val Thorens you are able to take advantage of their advice and expertise one-to-one. They will quickly establish where you require help with your technical ability and work with you to rectify, so you progress and master your skis and snowboard with confidence!
Private lessons can be individual if you need to gain confidence and to progress at your own pace, or with a small group of family or friends accompanied by an instructor that will cater for all your requirements and expectations. It is best if the small group is of a similar level to benefit most out of a private lesson.
A private lesson is like skiing a la carte - you choose:
- Ski, snowboard, telemark, off-piste, handiski etc...
- Perfect technique and gain confidence
- Discover the beautiful spots of Val Thorens: freeride off-piste, freestyle in the snow park...
Private lessons start from a few hours up to a full day. Please note that group size is limited to eight people and in high season lessons are only available on certain dates at certain times.

They teach children to ski from four years old. They do have a separate nursery for children as young as three months.
