British skier suffers broken pelvis in Val Thorens

A young female skier suffered a broken pelvis yesterday after hitting a rock in an off piste section under the Col chairlift at around 3100m.

The PGHM mountain rescue crew took her off the mountain and on to St Martin de Belleville. Later she was moved to Grenoble hospital for further treatment.
