In Val Thorens on Monday there are two events taking place, night ice karting and ‘happy hour Mini’. Between 6pm-8pm you can learn to ice race on the Alain Prost circuit in Val Thorens, a really great and unique opportunity.

The cost is 10 euros for just five minutes of adrenalin-fuelled fun. Register on site and make sure you take a helmet and gloves along. If you need more information then give them a bell: 07 88 61 25 34.

The MINI Mountain Tour has been taking place in Val Thorens for a couple of weeks now with a test centre located on the snow front near the tourist office. You have got the chance to test out the new ALL4 version of the MINI Countryman, the four-wheel drive from MINI. Also this Monday between 6pm-8pm they have a ‘happy hour’ with free mulled wine and DJ on the snow.

Taking place all week in St Martin is the Discovery Sport tour where you can take the new Land Rover for a spin on the mountain roads. Located just outside the Mairie, if you’re in St Martin, you can’t miss it.

From Wednesday to Friday in Val Thorens there is also the chance to swap your skis for a bike. Starting from 5pm you can then take part in a night time descent on two wheels, taking around 1hr30, so make sure you haven’t tired out your ski legs too much! Booking is compulsory at the Chalet du Toboggan on the same day. It costs 40 euros per person and is worth racing down for a free vin chaud at the finish line.

Along with all that we also have the circus in town! With a circus show in Les Menuires Maurice Romanet Hall on Tuesday at 6pm with free entry. The same show will be shown in St Martin on Friday in the village hall.

Then get your jazz hands at the ready with a free concert in the Maurice Romanet Hall in Les Menuires on Wednesday at 6.30pm.

Then one final item on the agenda this week…snow! Have a good week.
