There are a myriad of pizza joints and restaurants, whether the menu is entirely dedicated to this Italian favourite or has a cursory nod, if it's worth recommending it's here. Pizzas are a great meal to have whilst you’re out on the slopes - they're filling, packed full of carbs and super tasty toppings that are dripping in cheese.

Tucked along the Rhodos piste, this charming chalet combines a relaxed bistro restaurant with a cosy lounge area. At lunch, you can choose from colourful starters, quality matured meats, burgers, fish, salads, pizzas and Savoyard classics. On Sundays, they serve a book-ahead terrace brunch with a buffet and cocktail trolley. The lounge, filled with sofas and beanbags, is dedicated to Veuve Clicquot, making it a dreamy spot for breakfast, pastries, desserts, and, of course, champagne.

It's also a great place for après-ski, with parties on Thursdays on the terrace. Staff dress up and a DJ plays 80's and 90's tunes remixed in a dance-house style. Thousands of coloured bubbles will blow out over the terrace! Check out their special event evenings too. Open every day throughout the winter season. Le Monchu has a great sunny terrace with fabulous views of the ski area.

La Petite Ferme Restaurant

Good food and a nice atmosphere can be found at this restaurant. It's a great choice for a simple, tasty dinner with no frills. They specialise in Savoyard dishes and pizzas, but on the menu you'll also find salads, soups, pizzas and meat mains. Take-away pizzas are also available.

This is a popular choice amongst the locals, as well as tourists in Val Thorens. Booking recommended as it's a small, cosy dining area and can get busy!

Situated at the bottom of the slopes in the centre of Val Thorens, it is easy for skiers and pedestrians alike to enjoy a lunch here. For lunch they offer a good value daily special, whilst at dinner time the restaurant becomes cosier and with friendly service you can enjoy a relaxing meal with family and friends.

The restaurant also has a large sunny terrace where you can enjoy lunch including their pierrade, grilled meat or homemade desserts.

Right in the centre of Val Thorens, in the sports centre complex, is a small restaurant that looks like a snack bar but in fact serves up good traditional mountain meals. With friendly staff, quick service and a surprisingly wide selection of dishes at reasonable prices this restaurant is a great place for a quick meal or a relaxed family dinner. Once you are inside you can easily forget you are in a sports/shopping centre and with the constant flow of customers you quickly realise that this is, in fact a popular spot.

Serving the usual raclette and fondue meals, along with galettes (savoury crepes), steak, pasta, pizza and salads there is something for everyone. They do a good choice of dessert options too, from ice cream to sweet nutella filled crepes.

Jacks Restaurant

Restaurant and bar in Les Menuires - a place for locals, tourists and seasonaires alike. This restaurant serves homemade cosmopolitan food, a wide variety of drinks including craft beer and our signature cocktails and has a vast terrace that overlooks the piste, and a big stage for much-loved alpine acts to rock away the après! 

Operating from 12:00 to 23:00 non stop every day, their original offerings venture away from the standard Savoyard heavy creamy and potato pizzas towards more international flavours such as hoi sin duck, and slow cooked pulled pork with a homemade bbq sauce topping. Their menu still includes your Italian favourites such as quattro formaggi and quattro stagioni.

This venue is also famous for its après-ski and there will be live music every weekday from 17:00 featuring some of the best musicians in the Alps. After a fantastic day on the mountain, don't miss out on their happy hour deals from 16:00.

Jack's Bar also hosts some unmissable events throughout the season, from world famous comedians to themed nights to festivals, this is the place to be! Come along and grab one of their delicious cocktails from their ever-evolving menu of classic drinks and the latest concoctions.

This restaurant serves pizza, grills, Savoyard dishes and more. The service is efficient and friendly with a quick lunchtime service for those itching to get back out onto the slopes, and a more leisurely dinner time service for a special meal with family and friends. With a sun terrace it is a great venue for lunch during skiing and, in the evening, it makes for a cosy restaurant with friendly staff. We hear that genepi is often given after the meal as a little extra treat!

Open in winter from 08:30 to midnight.

La Voute Restaurant

Along the valley from Val Thorens, you will find this pizzeria in Saint Martin de Belleville. In an ancient chalet located in the heart of the village, along with pizzas you can enjoy local Savoyard specialities and traditional French cuisine. The warm and friendly atmosphere makes this restaurant a popular choice amongst locals and tourists.

It has direct access to the pistes. Open from December to April and from in July and August, every day for lunch and dinner. In September, October and November they open for lunch on weekdays, and for lunch and dinner on Friday and Saturday.

Right at the bottom of the slopes, next to the tourist office, with a glorious sunny terrace for those days when the sun shines and a lovely cosy interior for bad weather days and evenings. Serving delicious pizzas, burgers, seafood, pastas, sandwiches, Savoyard specialities and grills there is a wide selection for everyone to choose from. Service is friendly and speedy during lunchtime when the skiers rush hits and more leisurely in the evenings.

The warm and welcoming interior caters for the evening guests and local Savoyard dishes are among the evening dishes you can enjoy, along with some good french wines.

Open every day in winter, all day until late in the evening.

Located at the bottom of the slopes, just a short walk from the very centre of town, it is in a great position for lunch breaks whilst out on the mountains, or for a relaxing meal at dinner time. With a welcoming atmosphere and a great vibe the restaurant is perfect for groups and families.

Booking is recommended in peak season as the restaurant is popular. Open from 11:00 to 23:00.

This restaurant has a wide ranging menu, mostly specialising in pizzas and Savoyard cuisine but also including pasta, salads, meat and fish dishes. A spacious, welcoming mountain restaurant featuring a warm Savoyard décor of stone and wood. Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, it serves hearty French and European dishes, Savoyard specialties, and vegetarian options. Guests can enjoy a sunny terrace, themed evenings, and a full bar. Ideal for families, groups, or casual après‑ski dining, La Grange combines generous portions, friendly service, and a cosy alpine atmosphere.

This large restaurant can seat up to 300 people in the authentic Savoyard themed dining room, and another 100 on the terrace.

Open daily for breakfast lunch and dinner. Situated at the residence Pierre et Vacances.

This Italian restaurant, located in Résidence Les Ancolies, also serves traditional Savoyard cuisine in a warm, alpine setting. The menu features pizzas, pasta, meats, burgers, and regional specialties, making it ideal for groups, families, and friends. Dishes are delicious and reasonably priced, served by friendly staff. Guests can enjoy quick service on the terrace at lunch or relax in the cosy Savoyard-style interior at dinner, making it a perfect spot for any mealtime.

Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner every day throughout the winter season. Booking is recommended during peak season.

You can get a little bit of everything at this restaurant but Mediterranean flavours are its speciality. Delicious thin crust pizzas, pasta dishes and risottos are served alongside local specialities and French classics such as gratinated onion soup or duck breast with fois gras and morille mushrooms. Tuck into a burger or go for a little hint of Asia with their sesame crust tuna tataki. Whatever you choose, you can be sure that it will have been freshly prepared on site for you.

This recently modernised restaurant in the centre of town serves breakfast, lunch, drinks or dinner and has a lovely sunny terrace for when the weather is fine.

Open daily from 09.00 to 23.00, so whenever hunger strikes, this is the place to visit. Take out options are also available.

Serving Savoyard specialities, pizzas and traditional dishes in a typical mountain setting, this restaurant also doubles as a cosy après-ski lounge bar, open from 17:00 every day. Just as easily accessible on ski on the side of the piste or foot from the village, why not stop in on your way off the mountain for a drink.

The restaurant serves Savoyard dishes of raclette, fondue, pierrades, tartiflette, as well as grilled meats, and pizzas and pastas. Pizzas are also available to take away. A children’s menu is also available.

A number of events take place over the winter and summer months in Val Thorens and the Belleville valley in which it sits. From ski cross championships and music festivals to a mountain bike race that takes place across the whole of the Three Valleys, the Trois Vallées Addict Tour, and the occasional Tour de France stage, you'll find something to keep you entertained during your stay.
