Fimbulvetr: Future of Snowshoes

Asymmetric, lightweight unibody snowshoes

Fimbulvetr, pronounced Fimblevetter, have been spending the past few winters in the deep snowy heart of Norway to come up with a innovative new snowshoe design.

The asymmetric unibody claims to be super light and have maximum floatation. Made from recyclable materials currently used in shock absorbers, the snowshoe features an all-direction hinge which should help on those steep traverses and running downhill.
