Hybrid piste-bashers now in operation in the 3 Valleys
Following the announcement that Val Thorens would be one of the first resorts in the world to operate the new diesel-electric hybrid groomers, the two PistenBully 600 E+ have now arrived in resort.
The latest PistenBully 600 E + uses hybrid diesel-electric technology with improved efficiency aimed at being more environmentally friendly.
Both Courchevel and Val Thorens have received their new piste-bashers, tow of four due to be in operation in France this winter.
With better performance over previous groomers, the 600 E+ should save up to 20% in fuel and oil, leading to a 20% reduction of CO2 emissions.
