Clear skies & chilly temperatures in Val Thorens
The first week of February has been cold & clear
We've enjoyed some glorious skiing in Val Thorens the past few days with blue skies and low temperatures. Even though there has not been any significant snowfalls, the cold has kept the snow in great conditions.
There was an increase in skier's traffic last Saturday, with some queues for the lifts. With the arrival of the half-term holidays this week, there will be even more people on the slopes so check out Aurel's advice on how to get rid of the crowds.
There is no fresh snow forecast. The weather will remain calm, with clear skies, some clouds and low temperatures between -5ºC and -10ºC.
