Want to know what it's like to be winched down 65 metres from the Cime Caron cable car?

Well watch this video to see how Val Thorens have put the latest technology in place to maintain the highest levels of security. The Cime Caron cable car is able to transport 150 people at a time over a vertical incline of 900 metres, at an average speed of 10 metres per second. It takes passengers up to Cime Caron, at an altitude of 3,200 metres.
