Val Thorens Video Report : 29th February 2012

Spring has come early but winter is set to return

Imprint
Updated

The weather has been strangely warm and sunny here in the Three Valleys and, whilst this does make long lunches and sun bathing an enjoyable option, it has meant that in the afternoons the slopes are getting quite slushy. Thankfully though the forecast is for winter to return, at least for a few days at the beginning of the next week and there is even some fresh snow due.

Although the pistes are not as busy as we all thought they would be, if you want the slopes to yourself you can take advantage of the Meribel Alpina first lifts offer: early access to the slopes and breakfast on the mountainside before the lifts open to the public.
