Where can I change/draw out money?

Please note that most banks in France close on Sundays, Mondays and all public holidays. They also take the traditional lunch break of 12am to 2pm, so if you need to speak to a cashier make sure you have checked their opening times first. Euros are the currency in all French resorts and these can be drawn out of ATM cash points when the banks are closed using most international credit cards. You can also change money at the Post Office (La Poste) in the Maison de Val Thorens; if you need a large amount or an unusual currency you may be best to order in advance.
