Le Val Thorens Hotel
Exceptional location on the pistes in the highest ski resort in Europe
The hotel was fully renovated in 2021 and has stunning views of the slopes and surrounding mountains.
The rooms have been decorated with contemporary wooden furniture, and equipped with flat screen TVs, WiFi, bathrooms, separate WC and balconies. The diffferent room options available are as follows:
- The Privilege rooms can accommodate 2 adults & 2 children under 12 and feature double beds or 2 single beds, and bunk beds for 1 or 2 children. This room is fitted with modern furniture, bathrooms with showers, separate toilet, hairdryer, TV, minibar, safe and balcony.
- The Comfort rooms can accommodate 2 adults and feature a double or twin bed, Scandinavian-style furniture, bathrooms with showers, separate toilets, hairdryer, TV, minibar, safe and balcony with views over either the village or the slopes.
- The Superior rooms can accommodate 2 adults and have a connecting balcony, bathroom and flat-screen TV.
- The Superior Family rooms can accommodate 2 adults and 1 child under 12 years-old. The're fitted with a double bed and a sofa bed suitable for a child under 12. They feature Scandinavian-style furniture, bathroom with bath, separate toilet, minibar, hairdryer, TV, safe and balcony with views over either the village or the slopes.
- The Suite on the top floor can accommodate 2 adults and 1 child under 12. It features a large bedroom with double bed and separate lounge area with sofa bed. It includes a bathroom with shower, separate WC, minibar, hairdryer, TV, safe and balcony giving exceptional panoramic views over the slopes.
The Bar
The hotel's bar is housed in an enormous cube of polished concrete with a charcoal pine ceiling and furnished with comfortable contemporary armchairs. It features a glowing fireplace and a bookshelf filled with a collection of red books published by Guérin, the renowned mountain specialist. Live bands, singers and DJs play at the bar several times a week as you enjoy cocktails and generous platters of cold meats.
The Restaurant
The hotel boasts 2 restaurants, La Fondue which serves lots of local traditional specialities, and La Brasserie du Val Thorens which serves creative French cuisine in a relaxed atmosphere and has a large terrace for eating outside. The restaurants and bar are open all day, serving breakfast, brunch, lunch, afternoon tea, after-ski drinks, pre-dinner drinks, dinner and evening entertainment.
