Facing the foot of the pistes, this hotel is perfectly located both for the ski slopes and the resort centre of Val Thorens.
The 72 rooms are elegant and comfortable. Clad in traditional materials of wood and stone, the ambience is that of mountain life with more than a touch of refined comfort. All rooms have balconies overlooking the mountains.
The hotel proposes 6 types of room, suited to single guests, couples, families and groups. These range from Superior rooms through to Privilege rooms and Suites. Guests also have the choice of whether they enjoy views of the village or the slopes from their room. All rooms have a telephone, free Wi-Fi internet access, safe, minibar and hairdryer. All guests have use of a ski locker.
They also offer a 24-hour reception and their staff will be happy to deal with any requests or enquiries you may have. The concierge service can arrange ski lessons, ski passes, activities, babysitting, taxis, helicopter rides and more - just ask! There is even a ski shop inside the hotel where you can hire your equipment.
The pool
For those who like to be cocooned in comfort, their spa with heated pool is a haven of tranquility. The sauna, hammam (steam room) and spa are open to all hotel guests. Our qualified therapists propose a range of massages and relaxation treatments to ensure that you thoroughly unwind.
The Bar
With a crackling log fire and a welcoming ambience, the Roy bar is the perfect place to relax after an active day on the slopes. Live but unobtrusive music entertains their guests every evening.
The Restaurant
The Fitz Roy Restaurant is their exceptional restaurant, renowned amongst gastronomic circles for its refined cuisine. Passionate about fresh local ingredients, their chef excels at creating a wide range of inventive and delicious dishes. True to the culinary traditions of the region, La Table du Roy hosts regular Savoyard evenings when you can sample local specialities.
South-facing and sunny, the terrace restaurant offers fabulous panoramic views; lunch is served daily, either 'à la carte' or from the delicious buffet table.
